Accurate Diagnosis Comes First

Many foot conditions share similar symptoms, so an accurate diagnosis is the key to effective treatment. Our podiatrists combine a hands-on exam, a review of how you walk, and on-site X-rays at our Overlea, Glen Burnie, and Mercy offices to find the true source of your pain. From there, we build a treatment plan that may include conservative care, custom orthotics, advanced therapies like Shockwave Therapy, or foot and ankle surgery.

Care for Every Stage of Life

We treat children with pediatric foot problems, athletes with sports injuries, and seniors through our geriatric foot care services. Patients with diabetes benefit from our dedicated diabetic foot care program. For an overview of the most common problems we see, read our guide to common foot conditions.

Foot and Ankle Conditions FAQs

What foot conditions do you treat?

We treat heel pain, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, flat feet, bunions, hammertoes, corns and calluses, neuromas, toenail fungus, athlete’s foot, warts, foot odor, ankle pain and sprains, fractures, neuropathy, and arthritis.

How do I know which condition I have?

Many foot problems have similar symptoms. A podiatrist can examine your feet, review how you walk, and order X-rays to make an accurate diagnosis.

Do you treat foot conditions without surgery?

Yes. Most conditions are treated with conservative care such as footwear changes, orthotics, medication, injections, and advanced therapies. Surgery is reserved for cases that need it.

Do you treat children’s foot problems?

Yes. We treat in-toeing, out-toeing, flat feet, overlapping toes, warts, and sports injuries in children.

Is foot pain a sign of something serious?

Foot pain can be a sign of injury, inflammation, nerve damage, or circulation problems. Persistent pain should always be evaluated.

Can diabetes cause foot conditions?

Yes. Diabetes can lead to neuropathy, poor circulation, ulcers, and infections, which is why regular diabetic foot exams are important.

Which office should I visit?

You can visit any of our offices in Overlea, Mercy, Glen Burnie, Lutherville, or Reisterstown, whichever is most convenient for you.
